For a point-to-point connection, with great quality cable, the maximum distance is 680 meters. But usually, CCTV application means a connection: camera > DVR > monitor.
There will be signal loss and the distance cannot be as far as a point-to-point connection. For these type of application, a typical distance is 350m (985ft) to 400m (1312ft)
